This is the first model to look at for a shared bed. Pocket coils work independently of one another, and the micro-coil option adds a second layer that behaves the same way.

Construction

• An organic cotton cover quilted with natural wool.
• Two one-inch layers of natural Talalay latex.
• Your choice of one inch of micro-coils (1,386) to absorb your partner’s movement, or an additional latex layer.
• A zippered comfort panel, so the layers can be readjusted later.
• Eight-inch pocket-coil support across five zones (850 individual coils), for a total of 2,236 springs once the micro-coils are counted.
• A firm foam perimeter, so the edge holds its shape when you sit on it.
• In the two-sided version, the build is identical on both faces.

The choice between the micro-coils and an extra latex layer is the real decision on this model. The micro-coils absorb more of your partner’s movement; the latex layer gives a more even and more responsive surface.
