Warranty
Last updated: October 31, 2026
1. A warranty that does not shrink
We build every mattress in our Saint-Léonard workshop. When something goes wrong, you call us.
Many mattress warranties are prorated. After a set number of years the customer pays a rising share of the original price, until the warranty is worth very little.
Ours is not. A covered defect in the final year of the warranty is handled exactly like one in the first.
2. Term by model
The warranty starts on the delivery date shown on your invoice. Keep it.
- Latex mattresses (Talalay 8 inch, L’Ultime): 25 years.
- Foam mattresses (Lucern Plus, Imperial, Naples, Volupte, Neptune): 20 years.
- Spring mattresses (Le Supreme, Summum, Caress, Chiro Comfort, Signature): 15 years.
The warranty also applies to custom-made mattresses.
3. Free replacement
For the whole warranty period, we replace the mattress with a new one at no charge in any of these cases:
- sagging of more than 1.5 inches (3.8 cm), even on one side of the mattress only;
- damage covered by the warranty;
- a mattress made unusable by a defect in materials or workmanship.
To measure sagging, take all weight off the mattress and lay a straight edge across the sleeping surface from one side to the other. Measure the gap between the edge and the deepest point.
4. Changing a layer
Most of our foam and latex mattresses have a zip-up comfort panel with layers that can be swapped. That is what lets us adjust the firmness without replacing the whole mattress. Each model’s page says whether it has one.
- First 60 days: free, unlimited layer exchanges.
- After that, for the rest of the warranty: you pay only the cost of the materials.
So your mattress can change with your needs, years after you bought it.
5. What is not covered
- A change of firmness preference after the first 60 days. That is a layer change, at the cost of the materials.
- Normal softening of the materials, and sagging of 1.5 inches or less.
- Damage caused by an inadequate base, foundation or frame.
- Burns, cuts, tears, stains, liquid damage, mould and odours.
- Damage from folding or jumping on the mattress, or caused during a move.
- Normal wear of the cover fabric.
- A mattress whose law label has been removed.
6. Support and care
For the warranty to apply, the mattress must rest on a firm, solid surface:
- a solid foundation, a platform or an adjustable base that supports the whole surface. Slats must be at least 3 inches (7.5 cm) wide and no more than 3 inches (7.5 cm) apart;
- for queen and king sizes, a frame with a centre support rail and at least five legs on the floor.
On a reversible model, we advise flipping and rotating the mattress every three months to spread the wear. We also recommend a waterproof mattress protector from day one.
7. Making a claim
Email or call us with the following:
- your invoice, showing the delivery date;
- a photo of the law label, which identifies the model;
- photos of the problem. For sagging, a photo of the straight edge on the mattress, with a tape measure at the deepest point;
- a photo of the base or frame you are using.
We may ask for an inspection. If a model is no longer made, we replace it with a current model of equal or higher quality.
